Location: Hybrid – initially at least once per week work on-site in Beverwijk, with remote flexibility afterward
Hours: 16 hours/week initially, with occasional maintenance hours monthly
Compensation: 17 – 18 EUR/hour (15 – 16 EUR/hour base rate + 8.3% holiday allowance + 8% vacation hours, paid on request)

Are you a student with a talent for API development, looking for hands-on experience in a growing brand? A Bamboo Webshop is seeking a student developer to assist in essential system integrations. This role starts with on-site work in Beverwijk, moving to a hybrid model for ongoing maintenance and support.

Job Description:

As our Student API Developer, you will support our platform with key integrations and system enhancements. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing an API integration between our Exact Online accounting software and logistics providers PostNL and Dynalogic, with possible future connections to XXL Pakket, DPD, or Bumbal.
  • Setting up smooth data transfers for products, orders, and customer details from Shopify to Exact Online using xCore.
  • Handling PHP-based customizations to strengthen these integrations and optimize the Bamboo Webshop platform.

You will work closely with our team, beginning with in-office onboarding in Beverwijk to ensure thorough training and understanding of our systems.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled student with experience in API development and PHP programming.
  • Familiarity with Exact Online and tools like xCore is a plus.
  • Strong troubleshooting and API connection management skills.
  • Self-motivated, with strong time-management skills for balancing studies and part-time work.
