Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a Working Student Front-End Developer, preferably in the final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. The ideal candidate is someone with a keen interest in translating both user and business requirements into engaging and functional front-end designs. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and debug responsive web and mobile applications.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Familiarity with Vue.js is a plus; however, proficiency in plain JavaScript is highly preferred, as it lays the foundation for mastering other frameworks.

  • Ability to work minimally 2 days per week (16 hours), with a preference for 3-4 days (especially 3 days).

What We Offer:

  • Competitive compensation package, including a detailed salary structure: 17 – 18 EUR/hour (15 – 16 EUR/hour base salary + 8.3% holiday pay + 8% vacation hours paid on request).
  • A lively and collaborative office environment in Amsterdam, fostering creativity and innovation.
  • Significant opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.
  • The chance to be part of building a globally impactful platform in the software industry.

In the first year, you will be employed by CodeHive, and the company will hire you as a flexible force. Thus, you’ll truly be part of both the CodeHive team and the client team. After 1 or 2 years, you may choose to join the company permanently, provided there’s a mutual agreement on the match. This way, you can effectively explore your career opportunities while finalizing your studies and gain clarity on your path post-graduation. With this job there is a high chance of getting a fulltime job offer.
