Job Description

As a Market Data Student, you are responsible for the daily production of financial market data used to independently calculate profit & loss for Rabobank’s trading portfolios. You will create essential data objects, such as interest rate curves, based on live market quotes. These serve as input for both daily and monthly P&L accounts of the Front Office.

Your key responsibilities:

• Swiftly addressing and resolving disruptions in market data production.
• Supporting the team in maintaining market data configurations and definitions.
• Contributing to projects such as setting up new market data objects or implementing process improvements.
• Handling administrative tasks using Excel and/or Python.
• Providing ad-hoc market data insights to internal stakeholders.

Who You Are

• You have a strong interest in financial markets and a good understanding of financial products.
• You’re comfortable working with Excel and have an affinity for IT systems.
• You have excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• You’re available 2–3 days per week and willing to work evening/night shifts (up to 01:00).
• You are analytical, proactive, and capable of working independently under pressure.
