AI is transforming the world, and Rewire is helping shape that transformation. As a Medior/Senior Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of the internal IT and platform environment, drive improvements, and design scalable, secure, and automated systems.
You will be part of a multidisciplinary Data & AI environment where engineers, consultants, and technical specialists work together to build smart, scalable, and secure solutions. This role is the right fit for an experienced engineer who is ready to move beyond operational support and take real ownership of platform architecture and infrastructure.
What you will do
As a Medior/Senior Platform Engineer, you will:
- Own, manage, and continuously improve the internal IT landscape.
- Lead improvements across Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Defender, and Cloud Apps.
- Resolve complex internal IT and platform issues efficiently and structurally.
- Design and implement automation for internal operations, including self-service solutions, scripting workflows, and scalable permission models.
- Define and enforce best practices around IAM, SSO, PIM/PAM, backup and recovery, logging, and least-privilege security models.
- Collaborate with Cloud and Platform Engineers on CI/CD integrations, AWS-connected systems, and shared infrastructure.
- Translate operational needs into scalable platform improvements and architectural decisions.
- Support and guide less experienced colleagues while contributing to a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
What we are looking for
You are an experienced engineer who combines deep technical skills with ownership, structure, and clear communication. You know how to improve systems, automate repetitive work, and build reliable solutions that scale.
You bring:
- 4–5 years of experience in platform engineering, system engineering, IT operations, cloud engineering, or a similar role.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in a STEM field, such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or another technical discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Defender, and Cloud Apps.
- Experience managing Windows and macOS devices using Intune, Jamf, or comparable tools.
- Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash/Shell, Linux, and/or Python.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with GitLab, CI/CD concepts, Terraform, networking, REST APIs, and infrastructure automation.
- Solid understanding of IAM, SSO, PIM/PAM, logging, backup and recovery, and security best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
