Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our team at a leading AI fintech company based in The Hague. Our company specializes in leveraging AI and open banking data to model risk, aiming to revolutionize the fintech sector. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining our data pipelines, ensuring the smooth integration of AI algorithms into our risk modeling processes.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Designing and implementing robust data pipelines that support AI-driven risk modeling.
  • Working closely with our AI team to integrate AI algorithms into our data processing flows.
  • Managing cloud-based data resources, primarily on Azure, to ensure scalability and efficiency.
  • Developing and maintaining scripts in Python and JavaScript to automate data processing tasks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions to business challenges.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience with Azure, Python, and JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of AI algorithm modeling, particularly in the context of financial risk assessment.
  • Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English.
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Open to full-time or part-time commitments until graduation for those graduating in 2024.

Offer Details:

This position offers a competitive salary range of €2800 – €3200 per month, reflecting the candidate’s experience and qualifications. While initially available on a full-time or part-time basis (for students graduating in 2024), there is a potential for permanent full-time engagement based on performance and mutual interest.
