About the Traineeship Program

During the first year, you’ll be employed by CodeHive and embedded within our partner’s team. This dual structure ensures that while you contribute to meaningful projects, you also benefit from CodeHive’s coaching, training sessions, and networking opportunities.

Upon completing the program, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into a permanent role directly with our partner organization.


Your Role as a Graduate Back-End Developer

As a Graduate Back-End Developer, you’ll collaborate with a skilled team of developers to build robust, scalable, and efficient server-side solutions for cutting-edge insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write clean, maintainable code to develop functional web applications.
  • Build and maintain scalable and reliable back-end architectures using Ruby on Rails and relevant databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth operation.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize performance and identify bottlenecks in applications.
  • Maintain code quality through automated testing and peer reviews.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies to incorporate best practices into ongoing projects.
