- 40 Training hours on our online platform Pluralsight: Get 40 hours of training on our online learning platform Pluralsight
- Regular Evaluations & Progress Tracking: Every three months, you’ll meet with your career coach to review your progress and ensure you’re on the right track in your personal development.
- Ad-hoc coaching sessions from industry professionals: At CodeHive our senior professionals give lectures and coaching sessions to give you tips and tricks for on the job.

About the Traineeship Program
In your first year, you will be employed by CodeHive and placed with our partner. This setup allows you to be part of both CodeHive and our partner’s team, where you’ll gain practical experience and access to CodeHive’s career coaching, events, and training sessions to strengthen your skills and expand your network. After this 1-year traineeship, you’ll have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role directly with our partner.
Key Responsibilities
As a Cloud Engineer Trainee, you’ll work on projects such as cloud infrastructure development for insurance solutions, claims optimization, and health and wellness apps. Your main responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and securing current software solutions and infrastructure
- Supporting the Solutions team with deployment, tooling, and CI/CD during development
- Proposing and implementing cloud infrastructure improvements for performance, security, and monitoring
- Automating maintenance and deployment tasks
- Troubleshooting infrastructure-related issues with the solutions team
- Collaborating effectively with a multinational team and stakeholders
- Maintaining documentation for business continuity
- Gathering and incorporating feedback from stakeholders and development teams to enhance infrastructure
Core Competencies
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Informatics or similar
- Have seen cloud platforms like Google Cloud, AWS or Azure
- Know the concepts of containerization (Docker) and Kubernetes
- Scripting and automation skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and opportunities
- Understanding of security and compliance challenges
- Proficiency in professional English (spoken and written)
