Location: Remote
Hours: 10-12 hours/week (with potential for long-term collaboration)
Rate: Working Student: €17 – €18/hour (€15 – €16/hour base salary + 8.3% holiday allowance + 8% vacation pay on request) (Freelance hourly pay is determined on experience)

About Us
You shall be performing your assignment at a unique online platform offering a “crowdfunding” approach for events like weddings and birthdays. Users can create gift lists where others can make financial contributions. We ensure that all donations are securely held until the final payout to the recipient.

What You’ll Do

  • Update our website, which is built using PHP (Laravel) and ExpressionEngine.
  • Implement add-ons such as CartThrob, Custom System Messages, Publisher, and PDF Press Next.
  • Ensure smooth and user-friendly website performance.
  • Potentially maintain the website and resolve issues in the future.

Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking a student or freelance developer with experience in PHP and ExpressionEngine. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is not necessary. Ideally, you also have experience with the following technologies:

  • Frameworks/Languages: Laravel, JavaScript, jQuery, SAS, HTML, CSS.
  • Add-ons: CartThrob, Custom System Messages, Publisher, PDF Press Next.

Requirements

  • Experience with PHP and ExpressionEngine.
  • Ability to work independently; all tasks will be performed remotely.
  • Availability for 10-12 hours/week (with some flexibility if more time is needed).
  • A proactive attitude with the potential for long-term collaboration.
