Job Description:

We are seeking a talented Backend/DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. As a Backend/DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our backend infrastructure, ensuring it runs efficiently, reliably, and securely. You will also be responsible for monitoring the performance of AWS tools and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the development team to maintain and improve the backend infrastructure written in Java.
  • Implement DevOps best practices to automate deployment processes.
  • Monitor the performance and scalability of AWS tools and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues as they arise.
  • Ensure high availability and security of the backend systems.
  • Work closely with the development team to optimize application performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features and improvements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend/DevOps Engineer.
  • Strong experience with Java and Java-based applications.
  • Proficiency in AWS cloud services and tools.
  • Knowledge of DevOps best practices and experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with monitoring and log aggregation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
